Having joined Davis & Timmins (Aircraft) Ltd at age 16, Richard has spent his entire career in Aerospace fasteners and components.
Richard founded the business as PSM Aerospace in 1982 and led the management buy-out from its parent company in 1988, he has continued as CEO to date.
Ian Binns / COO
After commencing his career in Technical Sales with Hilti GB, Ian joined PACE in 1993 as Sales Manager. Rapid business growth saw Ian promoted to General Manager in 1997.
Ian was appointed a Director in 2014 and is responsible for growth, profitability & supply chain.
Toby Dale / Business Improvement Manager
In 2016, Toby Commenced a placement year at PACE as a part of his degree in Aerospace Technology and he proceeded to Join PACE as a Business Improvement Engineer after graduating in 2018.
Toby was appointed Business Improvement Manager in 2019 and specialises in the Principles of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain Management.
Leading a team of Business Improvement Techniques trained staff, Toby is responsible for continuous improvement activities and strategic business development.
Tamara Williams / HR Manager
Tamara’s 30 years HR experience spans sectors including Manufacturing, Financial Services, Shipping and Construction, and encompasses line management and business partnerships.
At PACE Tamara is responsible for strategic HR, ER issues, Recruitment & Selection and Learning & Development.
Martin Darch / Quality Manager
Martin is an apprentice-trained Machine Setter and CNC Programmer and has worked in manufacturing for over 20 years. He has worked in multiple manufacturing industries including Automotive, Gas, Oil, MOD and Aerospace.
His roles at PACE have ranged from shop floor Setter/Operator to Team Leader, via Manufacturing Engineer to his current role as Quality Manager.
Matthew Mullan / Planning Manager
Matt started at PACE in November 2011 as the company progress chaser. This position had a huge role in his progression with PACE, allowing him to gain an understanding of all areas of the business.
The role soon developed into full planning where Matt was able to control jobs from start to finish, ultimately being responsible for delivery.
Matt’s new role of Planning Manager has been both challenging and exciting. and he’s looking forward to working in this position long-term in order to progress and achieve both business and personal goals.
Charlie Hagon / Customer Account Team Manager
Charlie joined PACE in November 2013 as Receptionist and progressed to Account Manager within her first year. Her hard work and dedication led to her promotion to the role of to Account Manager Team Leader in September 2015. Since then she has progressed to her current role of Customer Account Team Manager.
Joyce Chopping / Finance & Payroll Manager
Joyce joined PACE in 2008 as Finance & Payroll Manager. She has worked in finance For over 40 years in various sectors including the motor trade, insurance and metal stockholding.
