CNC Operators

Due to expansion, we are now looking to recruit 3 CNC operators, ideally with Turning experience but we will train the right candidates.  2 of the roles will be on a shift of 6am – 2pm, Monday – Friday and one role will be on a shift 1.45pm – 11.45pm, Monday – Thursday.

PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

We are currently seeking to recruit an apprentice to work in Production Dept. You will learn all aspects of CNC Machining/Setting/Programming. You should have at least 3 GSCEs in Maths/English and Science at grades 4-5 or above. You will learn all aspects of manufacturing as well as other areas of the business.

CNC MILLERS / TURNERS

We currently have opportunities for skilled and experienced CNC millers capable of producing high precision components for the Aerospace industry. Ideally, with a working knowledge of operating 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining.

You should be able to understand technical documentation, drawings and be able to work both in imperial and metric measurements. A knowledge of Mazak, Hurco and Huss machines would be an advantage.

The hours are 6am–2pm Monday to Friday.

We are also seeking operators to work on our late shift which is Monday – Thursday, 1.45pm to 11.45pm.

Packer – Part Time

We are now looking for a Packer in our Logistics Department. This role will perform a number of duties aimed at ensuring that the packing operation of the Logistics department is run smoothly on a daily basis.

This role can be on a P/T basis 4 hours per day Monday to Thursday. The actual time of the hours can be adapted to an individual’s personal circumstances. Therefore, would probably suit someone that is seeking a few hours work after college/school or after the school run.

The duties will include:

  • Pull, pack, weigh and label parts.
  • Ensure that the correct goods are despatched to the correct customer as per the delivery note
  • Make sure that all goods are labelled properly using appropriate item numbers
  • Pick out ordered goods and ensure that they are in good condition
  • Ensure all packages are properly packaged and sealed
  • Isolate and report any faulty or damaged goods at the time of the order picking process
  • Adhere to the laid down internal procedure for packing
  • Follow best practice of manufacturing and proper safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area
  • An opportunity to learn additional functions of the main Logistics role
  • Various adhoc tasks as deemed appropriate by the Operations Manager

It may be possible that we can accommodate with a flexible working arrangement as we now operate an evening shift, which may appeal to someone with childcare issues.

Quality Assurance Technician

We are now looking to recruit a person with an aptitude for administration to work in our Quality Assurance Department.  This could suit someone who wants to make a career change into Quality Assurance. This role will be diverse and  perform a number of duties aimed at ensuring that the operations of the Quality Assurance department are run smoothly on a daily basis and to ensure that the business is compliant to company procedures and customer regulatory requirements.

Tasks will include:

  • Ensure robust and effective containment of reported issues to prevent escapes to customers
  • To carry out First Article inspection of components in accordance with customer requirements
  • Assist in identifying root cause in product non-conformity and raise the appropriate corrective action paperwork and ensure issues are addressed and resolved
  • Product verification: Ensure component conformance both dimensionally and visually by using inspection equipment including but not exhaustive, CMM. Keyance, shadow graph projector, micrometer, bore micrometer
  • Internal Auditing
  • Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective action paperwork and ensure issues are addressed and resolved.
  • Various adhoc tasks as deemed appropriate by Quality Manager

Experience in Quality Assurance is not a requirement as you will be shown how to operate within our internal company procedures. The successful candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude, be able to work methodically, and attention to detail is essential.  Good oral and communication skills are key to the role.  Must be computer literate and have a flexible approach to work.

We are also seeking to recruit an apprentice to work mainly in Production. You should have at least 3 GSCEs in Maths/English and Science at grades 4-5 or above. You will learn all aspects of manufacturing as well as other areas of the business.
